A Letter from Our President

At its core, private club management hasn’t changed much, if any, since the industry’s inception eons ago. As a Private Club your mission is the same today as it might have been in your great-great-grandfather’s day – to provide the kind of facilities, programs, and (most important of all) services your members need, demand and deserve. But one thing has changed and continues to change at a dizzying pace, and that’s the incredible technology available to you and your club. Properly applied, this new technology can make your club run more smoothly, your members happier, your job less stressful, and your life a little easier.

Club managers and their staffs tend to be service people, and not necessarily technical people. And while that’s as it should be, it also means clubs continue to have great difficulty with technology. There’s hardly a club around that hasn’t suffered from costly, frustrating, even maddening technological missteps and false starts. From buying the wrong hardware to choosing outdated software to hiring unreliable consultants, club managers all share the same technology horror stories.
